As a member of the Sports Massage Association I will aim to identify anyone for who soft tissue therapy is ill-advised or detrimental to their short or long-term well-being. Before every treatment I assess each person to ensure that the appropriate massage techniques are used will advise on alternative action if it is required.

About Me

I am a life-long cyclist, having raced and ridden in the UK and numerous other countries for over 30 years. I competed in athletics and played rugby for 10 years and also enjoy climbing and kayaking. I am a qualified British Cycling Level 2 general and mountain bike coach. I am passionate about helping and supporting people to enjoy the benefits of cycling.

After 20 years working in and teaching acute nursing, in a range of settings, I wanted to combine my health care experience and knowledge, with my love of sport. I therefore undertook a sport and exercise science degree followed by some PhD research.

I benefited from sport and remedial massage therapy to help me successfully recover from a significant mountain bike crash. This led me to  undertake a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage at the prestigious North London School of Sports Massage. I have also undertaken the BikeFit Pro training and feel this is an excellent way for me to practically combine my sport & exercise science qualification, health care experience and my years of sport participation to benefit other people. I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Health Care Council and I am a  member of the Sports Massage Association.
